Breastfeeding, Breast or bottle?
Many women are raised to feed their babies in the first months of life. For this issue, and for all, there are differences of opinions.
According to WHO, breastfeeding is the optimal way to facilitate the growth of children because it stimulates the baby’s immune system, to have antibodies that protect them from viral diseases and other conditions such as chronic lung or gastrointestinal.
Similarly, we find another set of benefits, not only for the baby, but also for the family and economic development. The comfort and zero cost of breastfeeding is an argument that can end a mother to convince undecided.
Without doubt, breastfeeding is the natural form of food that does not need scientific arguments to be tested. And, if we parked for a moment, all the advantages and benefits we bring our baby, the truth is that this is a very special and unique. The time to breastfeed your child, personally, I have always lived as a kind of ritual intimate, personal, calm, insight, complicity … is a feeling hard to explain and, I guess, to each one awakens a very specific emotions.
Currently, milk for infants are much more prepared than before, with more nutrients and supplements looking for maximum similarity to breast milk. Thus, a baby will not stop being well fed because he can not drink milk from the mother. Nor, as I have ever heard, unless a mother wants their son or daughter for not breastfeeding.
At the same time, other factors to consider when carrying out one or another method. Breastfeeding requires more time and dedication that in some cases, is totally incompatible with the job duties of the mother. It may also happen that the milk does not have sufficient quality to feed the baby, who has difficulty sucking or have had any health complications, either the child or the mother, preventing him from reaping the benefits of the breastfeeding.
As in other matters relating to maternity and infant care, I am an advocate for the natural and every mother will know what brand his instinct to carry out, whenever possible. In my humble opinion and, whenever possible, I recommend that complicity and live the magic that is created between the baby and you when you’re breastfeeding. Both go out benefit.
