Family Behavior Disorders: Youth and Adulthood
All sociological approaches coincide in placing the family as the foundation and basis of society, so the stability of this will depend largely on the harmony achieved in family functioning. A dysfunctional family but can not generate dysfunctional young adults whose attitudes and behaviors move to the heart of the community conflicts and traumas that acquired and developed from early childhood. Thus, previous research show that treatment will have to evaluate the following indicators of family behavior disorders, and their influence on youth and adulthood:
* Existence of relations of subordination based on economics or violence.
* Manifestations of gender discrimination (sexism, etc.)..
* Confinement intergenerational and disrespect among members of the family.
* Adverse effects of alcoholism, drug addiction, gambling, or other actions.
* Promiscuity and/or practice of sexual abuse of minor family members.
* Requirements of child labor as the main focus of economic exploitation.
* No inclusion of dialogue and participatory decision making.
* Practice of criminal activity by one or more members of the family.
* Conflicts of coexistence and interfamilial violence.
