How to help your child adjust to kindergarten
When you take your first child to kindergarten or to the place will be careful, stay there all day. Let your child gradually adjust and relate to other children and with the person or persons to assist you. The second day, stay 5 or 10 minutes while your child is ready for interaction with the person responsible for your care. If possible, let your child a favorite toy or object. If the nursery is near where you work, visit her son during the day. When you leave your child, do so with a cheerful attitude and let him know you are leaving – don’t sneak away.
Do not be surprised if your child cries the first few days when you leave the nursery. During the first week, the child may talk about not wanting to return.
